Producing Standard Letters
Control Centre allows you to easily send a copy of a standard letter to all or a selection of clients in a dataset. It does this by mail-merging information that you have entered for clients in Sage Taxation into copies of the letter in Microsoft Word. Information such as the client's name, address and client code can be added to the letter and you can also edit the contents and appearance of the letter using Word. A variety of standard letters are provided with Control Centre but you can also create your own custom letters.
Letters can be applicable to certain client types. For example, you could create letter types that you would only need to send to Partnership Tax clients, therefore, you could make the letter applicable only to partnerships. You would then only be able to produce the letter for clients of type partnership.
