Action Log
Once a return has been submitted, the Action Log will be displayed showing the result of the submissions.
A list at the top right of the window will show a summary of how many returns were processed, how many passed and how many failed.
Details for each return submitted will be displayed in a window below.
If a return has failed submission, the details will give an error code and a short description of why the submission failed.
If the submission failed due to invalid information on the return, you must return to Personal Tax to resolve the error. The return must then be sent to the client to be signed again before re-submission can take place.
If the submission failed due to an error with the internet connection, the return may be re-submitted. Please see the section on re-submission for further information.
If you need further guidance resolving issues where returns have failed submission, there is an option to email the report to Sage Software Support. Select the Email Support button from the Action Log toolbar.
