Default value

Select the default value for the Date type that you are creating. This value is automatically assigned as the default for this type to every client type that you selected in the Select client type page of the Add New Date Wizard. Choose a default from the three options:

• Clear - Defaults to no value at all.
• Previous period - Defaults to the value that was used in the previous time period (which you choose in the Select period type page of the Add New Date Wizard).
• Advanced - Defaults to the value that was used in the previous time period (which you choose in the Select period type page of the Add New Date Wizard), but that value is incremented by the particular "year" period e.g. birthday.
