Deleting Clients

There are two options when deleting clients that are used in Personal Tax:

  • Deleting clients in Personal Tax will remove all of the personal tax data for the client but leave the client available in Control Centre, and Sage Practice Solution if used.
  • Deleting clients from Control Centre will remove all of the client data from Taxation although client details and Time and Fees information (if Time and Fees is used) will be available in Sage Practice Solution.

If you use Sage Practice Solution and have client integration enabled the deleted client will still exist in Sage Practice Solution. Links in Sage Practice Solution will remain and clicking them will prompt to recreate the client in the relevant Sage program.
