Template Name
Name - The name of the currently selected template is displayed.
Learn - Open the Code Analysis window, which you can use to "learn" the codes from the sample file that is currently selected in the Sample filename section at the bottom of the window. This allows you to do two things:
- create a new, blank template and learn from an existing Accounts file, so that all of the codes from the latter are effectively copied into the former. You can then make the necessary changes to the Tax Return Groups in the new template. Therefore you don't have to manually re-enter a long list of codes and corresponding narrative when you create a new template; you can base it upon one of your existing files
- repair an existing template which may be damaged in some way by learning from an existing file. If a large number of the Tax Return Groups have been changed in a template and you have a file which you know has the correct groups set up, you can learn from that file and restore the template.
Edit - Open the Edit Template Codes window, which you can use to edit, create and delete codes for the currently selected template.
