Editing and creating templates

If there are no templates available for your Accounts package, or the template supplied is incorrect, you can use the Template Editor to create a new template or edit an existing one.

When you create a new template, the majority of the information required is supplied by a sample accounts file produced by your accounts application. Some information, such as how credits are denoted by that application, must be entered by you.

You can also use a sample accounts file to update or repair a template which no longer works as a result of updates to your accounts application etc.


  1. To open the Template Editor, click Templates on the Import Accounts Data window. The Template List appears.
