This window displays the current default value for the Date type. You can change which value is the default. The default value of all existing dates of this Date type will change to the value that you select here. There are three options:

• Clear - Defaults to no value at all.
• Previous period - Defaults to the value that was used in the previous time period (which you choose in the Select period type page of the Add New Date Wizard).
• Advanced - Defaults to the value that was used in the previous time period (which you choose in the Select period type page of the Add New Date Wizard), but that value is incremented by the particular "year" period e.g. birthday.
