Where are my pending bank transactions?
Accounting will only permit you to either import a bank statement or have a bank feed connection set up at any one time, the two facilities cannot coincide together.
If you want to import a bank statement but are currently connected to a bank feed you will need to process any pending transactions first before disconnecting the feed to then import a statement. Likewise, if you have imported a statement and have transactions pending you will need to process these before connecting to your bank.
If you try to disconnect your bank feed or connect to your bank when there are still pending transactions this warning message displays advising you that you have pending transactions:
Pending transactions will be discarded
This bank account contains transactions from a previous bank connection or imported statement that you haven’t yet processed. If you continue, we’ll discard these transactions when your new connection becomes active. Review Pending transactions.
If you ignore this warning and proceed to disconnect your bank feed or connect to your bank before processing these pending transactions they will be deleted and cannot be retrieved.
If you have accidentally deleted pending transactions you can do one of the following:
- Enter your missing bank feed transactions manually.
- Import your bank statement again making sure to only process the transactions that were lost.
