Make unused bank accounts inactive
When you have bank accounts that you no longer use, you can prevent transactions being created for that bank account by making it inactive.
Once set to inactive, the bank account is hidden when creating transactions, although it will still appear in completed transactions and reports.
A bank account cannot be set to inactive if:
-
It's connected to a bank feed. You'll need to disconnect your bank feed first.
-
There are draft transactions in the account. You'll need to delete or save the drafts first.
