Use this page to enter details of payments to personal pension schemes and stakeholder pensions.

Both employees and self-employees can claim tax relief as a deduction from their earned income for payments to a personal pension plan. From 2002 onwards, up to £3,600 gross contribution per annum can be paid without income certification.

Contributions are made net of basic rate tax. No further relief is due unless the client is liable to tax at the higher rate.
