Sage Client Limits
This window shows the current client counts and limits for all Sage Taxation systems.
System - The name of the Sage Taxation system e.g. Partnership Tax.
Count - The number of clients that currently exist for all datasets in the particular Sage Taxation system.
Limit - The total number of clients that can exist for all datasets in the particular Sage Taxation system. This limit cannot be exceeded without the permission of Sage. You can change the limits by clicking on the appropriate box in the grid and typing the new limit in.
Control Centre does not have any limits imposed on the number of clients that can exist within it.
shareTAX is either Enabled or Disabled. You can change this status by either double-clicking the select mouse button on the Enabled/Disabled box in the grid or highlighting that box and pressing the space bar. You can only access the Securities Database when Enabled is displayed.
Authorisation
Serial number - This is the number that you must give to Sage Software Support if you wish to change the limits for Sage Taxation systems.
Validation code - You must enter the validation number to be able to save any changes that you make to the limits for the Sage Taxation systems that you have installed. You must contact Sage Software Support and give them the following information to gain the code:
- the names of the Sage Taxation systems that you currently have installed.
- the new limits that you want to impose for each system.
- the number displayed in the Serial number box.
Sage Software Support will give you the validation code. Enter the code in the Validation code box and click OK or Apply. The new limits will now be applicable if the validation code that you have entered is correct.
