After a year update
When a year update has been completed all of the folders/forms in the Annual Data Navigator into which data was carried forwards (or backwards) have a red cross. This indicates that the details contained in the data entry forms have been marked by Personal Tax as incomplete. You should check that the details have been successfully updated by opening each form and browsing through the pages.
If the update has been successful you can mark the particular form complete by selecting the Complete check box. The red cross in the Navigator will be replaced by a green tick.
If the update has been unsuccessful or there are more details that need to be added for the new tax year, don't select the Complete check box.
When you've year updated a client, the newly created tax year will be displayed.
