Tax credit relief for foreign tax paid

Option | Description |

Description | Enter the nature of the source of income on which foreign tax is paid e.g. employment, self-employment etc. |
Country | The country in which the source of income arises and whose tax has been deducted at source. |
Page number | The page number on which details of the source of income are returned e.g. E1 for employment income. |
Foreign Tax | The amount of foreign tax paid in respect of this source of income. |
Amount chargeable | The amount of gross income that has been reported elsewhere in the return and on which foreign tax has been paid. |
Start date | Enter the start date of the source of income if in the current tax year. |
End date | Enter the date the source of income ceased if in the current tax year. |
Claim tax credit relief | Tick this box if tax credit relief is to be claimed in respect of this source of income. |

What's this page about?
Use this form to enter details to facilitate the completion of the section headed ‘Foreign tax credit relief for foreign tax paid on employment, self-employment and other income’ on page F3 of the SA106, Foreign supplementary pages.
The tax year that you are entering details for is shown at the top of the data entry page. If you want to change the tax year, you should select a new date from the drop-down list at the top of the navigator.

- Estimated - Tick this box to indicate that the figures you've used are estimated. This will then show on the item in the navigator, and at the higher level folder in the navigator by showing a small e.
- Complete - Tick this to indicate that the form is complete. A green tick will appear on the item in the navigator and at the higher level folder in the navigator.
If you want to close the page without saving any of your changes, you can click Cancel. If you were adding new details, then nothing will be saved. If you were editing an existing item then the page will close, reverting to your previously saved details.
