Licensing
The licensing window shows:
| Option | Description |
|---|---|
| Product | The name of the product, i.e. Partnership Tax. |
| Client count | The number of clients that currently exist in each product. |
| Client limit |
The limit of the number of clients that you can create in each product. |
| Sage Cover expiry date | The expiry date of the license for this product. |
| Serial number | You'll need to tell us this number to update your client limits. |
| Validation code | We'll give you a code when changing your client limits. |
Note: If you haven't registered your software, your client limits will be minimal and there will be a Register Now button at the top of the page. You can use the software in trial mode for now, and a date will show how many days left until you must register your software.
To increase your client limits or license your products:
- From the Tools menu choose Licensing. The Licensing window appears.
- With your account number to hand, call us on 0191 479 5999. When prompted by the telephone menu system, select the option for registering a program.
- A Sage advisor will guide you through the rest of the process.
Note: Be careful when reading out the codes and limits to the advisor to make sure they are correct. If you make a mistake, the validation code will not work.
Your client limits are now updated.
