Client Counts

| <Product> Client limit |
This shows the current client limit for the product. The default number of clients for new users is 10 for Control Centre and 2 for other tax products. |
| Remaining free clients | This is the total number of clients that you can create in Control Centre before the client limit is reached. |
| Clients in all datasets | This is the total number of clients that currently exist in all datasets. |
| Clients in this dataset | This is the total number of clients that exist in the currently open dataset. |
| Show warning when number of remaining free clients is less than | Choose a number. When the amount of free clients you have for this product drops below this number you'll receive a warning. |
Click Licensing to open the Licensing window. This is where you view and change your client limits.
Note:
If you manually delete a dataset by deleting the directory or the relevant files in the dataset directory, you can cause problems with the client limits. You should always delete a dataset through Control Centre in the following way:
- Open Control Centre.
- Close the current dataset.
- From the Tools menu, choose Administrator> Delete Dataset....
- Enter the Administrator password.
- Select the dataset to delete from the Delete Dataset window.
- Click OK. The dataset will be deleted.
