Understanding the Role of the Administrator
The Administrator is the employee within your practice who has been designated as the most powerful and responsible Sage Taxation user. The Administrator password, which only the Administrator should know, is required to perform certain tasks in Sage Taxation e.g. the creation of a new user. This password system prevents the majority of your practice's employees from performing certain fundamental tasks. The Administrator is effectively responsible for the following:
- Creating new users
- Editing users' details
- Creating datasets
- Deleting datasets
- Completely deleting clients from Sage Taxation
- Creating new categories
