Filing the Return by Paper

Note: This topic relates to tax years pre 2008.

You can mark a set of Tax Return Figures as filed in Partnership Tax. This is a useful indicator for yourself and other users, since it informs you that work on the client's Return for that tax year is complete. You should only do this when the Return has actually been submitted to HM Revenue & Customs.

When, you mark the Return as filed, the date on which you did this is recorded. This information is used by the Report Generator in Control Centre, which allows you to produce a report listing all clients whose Partnership Tax Returns for a specified tax year have been marked as filed.

  1. Select the set of figures you wish to mark as filed. How?
  1. From the Return menu, choose Filed.
