Filing By Internet Workflow

Note: This topic relates to tax years pre 2008.

Below is a brief outline of the steps involved in the complete process of filing by Internet.

1. Partnership Tax: Begin the submission process using the Submission wizard. Select FBI as the submission method.
2. Control Centre: Select the Returns that you want to file. You may select multiple Returns at this time.
3. Control Centre: Submit the Return via FBI  using Control Centre. You must now await a response from the FBI system.
4. Partnership Tax: You now go back to the Submission page in Partnership Tax and wait for a response. When a response has been received it will be shown here. If the submission was successful it is marked as Accepted and the process is complete. If the Return was Rejected or did not reach the FBI server, you can choose to make amendments and resubmit by Internet or submit on paper.
