Transmit and Receive Paths

These paths are the ones that the Data Link uses to transfer data between Control Centre and the other product (depending on whether you are currently viewing the Accounts Production or Time and Fees tab, and which product you have selected on each of these tabs). The Data Link software automatically generates an appropriate path that you should not edit under normal circumstances. In fact, it is highly recommended that you don't alter this path unless specifically advised to do so by one of our Software Support team.

If you do have to alter the path, you must do so by browsing to a new location using a browser window opened up using the 'magnifying glass' button on the right of the box containing the path you want to edit (you cannot change the path by directly editing the text in this box directly). Only administrators can change these paths, so you will be required to supply the administrator password before proceeding unless you have already granted yourself administrator access rights this session.

Once the browser window is open, navigate to the folder you wish to use and select it. This will be set as the new path.
