Report Frame

You can choose to show a complete border around the report or just parts of it. Tick the appropriate boxes to indicate which sides of the frame you want to make visible. These lines will be visible on the final report.

  • Left
  • Right
  • Top
  • Bottom

Colour - Select this button to choose the colour of the visible lines using the standard Color window.

Width - Select the width in pixels of the visible lines from the spin-edit box.

Style - Select whether the lines are solid, dashed, dotted or a combination using the drop-down list.

Report Element Frames

- Select an option from the option box to indicate how you wish the box around each element to appear in the design area. You can choose from the following options:

  • Solid - Draw a solid line around each box.
  • Dashed - Draw a dashed line around each box.
  • Dotted - Draw a dotted line around each box.

This does not affect the way the element's frame is displayed on the final report when it is printed or previewed.

Color Use the standard Color window to choose the colour of the box around each element. This does not affect the way the element's frame is displayed on the final report when it is printed or previewed.

Show element frames - Tick the box to display a box around each element on the report in the design area, indicating the size of the element and the position of it's frame. This does not affect the way the element's frame is displayed on the final report when it is printed or previewed. This option only changes the way the element's frame is displayed in the Report Designer. To display a frame around an element in the final report, select the element then select the Images/CCentre00000364.gif button from the toolbar.
