View menu

This menu contains operations to change the way items are shown in the Client Navigator and the appearance of other windows.

Trim - Trims the Client List according to what it is currently sorted by e.g. if the list is sorted by Daytime Phone selecting Trim will display only those clients who have a relevant phone number. A tick against the option on the menu indicates that Trim is turned on.

Resize Client List - Resizes the Client List to the exact width of the currently selected columns so that they are all displayed and so that there is no 'white space' at the right-hand side of the list.

Sort Clients By - Sorts the Client List by one of the criteria from the list available (this list becomes available when you move the mouse over the arrow to the right of the option). This affects the way in which you can search for a client in the Client List using the Find option. The currently selected option is indicated by a small, black circle. You can also choose by what criteria the list is sorted by using the column buttons at the top of the list.

Add/Remove Column - Adds or removes a column of information to or from the Client List. The columns available are shown when you move the mouse over the arrow to the right of the option

Refresh - Refreshes/updates all of the available data in the Client Navigator. You can also press the F5 key to do this.

Toolbar - This option gives the choice of viewing the main frame toolbar and its buttons or not.

Client Navigator - Opens the Client Navigator if you have closed it.

PDF Folder - This opens the folder that you've set as the folder to save all PDF generated reports to. You can change this folder's location. This is a quick way to find your Sage generated PDF files.
