Create PDF to save or print
Whilst you can see the accounts preview on screen, there may be times when a PDF is preferred. This would give you an offline copy for when you might not have access to the internet, or if you want to print a copy.
To create a PDF file
Sole Traders | Accounts Preview > Export toPDF> choose with or without draftmark. |
Limited Companies | Accounts Preview > Generate Set of Accounts >PDF> choose with or without draftmark. |
The set of accounts is optimised for PDF and looks different to how it appears on the Accounts Preview tab.
Once you’ve produced a PDF file, you may want to save it to your device or computer. You might want to do this to transfer to a different device for reading, or for filing, or in case you anticipate not having access to the internet when you need this file.
- Upon clicking the PDF option, the set of accounts should open in a new tab in your browser.
- Look for a Save option. This may be on a File menu, or it may be represented by a Save icon.
- Choose a location to save the file.
To print a set of accounts
If you want to print an accounts preview, you must first create a PDF file.
