Set up your system for cheque printing
To make printing easier, we recommend you perform the following steps before setting up cheque printing:
- Install the latest version of Adobe Reader.
- Install the latest version of Google Chrome and use it as your browser.
- Set your browser's zoom to 100% for accurate text and image sizes.
- Open a PDF in your browser. Click Print. Apply no margins or fit to page settings.
Enter Cheque Printing Settings
NOTE: Cheque printing is enabled by default.
To set up cheque printing:
- Go to Settings, Cheque Printing.
- Check the Enable Cheque Printing box. Clear it if you don't print cheques.
- Select Sage Cheque Paper. (More templates will be available in future releases.)
- Click Save.
Print and align a test cheque
To print and align a test cheque:
- Set up cheque printing as described.
- On the Cheque Printing Settings page, click Print Setup.
- In the Cheque Printing Setup dialog, click Print Test Cheque 1.
- Align the printed test cheque with cheque stock by holding them up to a light source.
- If aligned, select Yes and click Continue, then All Done.
- If not aligned, select No, adjust the grid squares, and click Continue.
- Print another test cheque and repeat until aligned.
- Click Continue, then All Done.
